Ingredients of South Indian Pumpkin Fry
Pumpkin–1 cups (peeled and cubed)
Red chilly 2-3
Mustard seeds-1/2 tablespoon
water - as needed
salt - as needed
Steps for South Indian Pumpkin Fry
Heat oil with a medium flame, once hot, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add red chilly then wait for a few moments until it turns the color.
Add cubed pumpkin, required salt and toss together. then spray a spoon of water.
Cover and simmer the pan. cook until the pumpkin turns in soft.
Once it rocked switch off the flame and serve with south Indian style simple Pongle (made up of rice and salt) or plain rice or just you can have as a snack.
