Mutton Boti Kabab or Boti Kabab is a starter recipe made with thin boneless mutton strips mixed with simple at home ingredients. It is very easy to make. When made properly with proper marination timings and accurate amount of ingredients, it will just melt in your mouth.
Mutton strips are marinated with a mixture of coriander, green chili, garlic, wheat flour etc. Then it is coated with breadcrumbs, dipped in whisked egg and then fried on low heat. Usually, these kebabs are made less spicy and thus children love it so much. You can add spice according to your taste.
Cut the Boneless Mutton into 2 inch wide thin strips. Marinate mutton strips with ginger garlic paste, salt and papaya cubes. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
Remove papaya cubes after 4 hours. Now Add green chili paste, lemon juice, cashew powder, jeera powder, garam masala and mix it well. Keep it aside for about 30 minutes. Fill the skewer with the marinated mutton strips. Put in zigzag. minimum 2 to 3 strips in a skewer.
Take a small bowl and add wheat flour to it. Add 1/2 cup water. Pour an egg into the flour and whisk it.
Sprinkle some breadcrumb on the mutton stips poked inside the skewer. Now dip in the flour paste. Deep fry on very low flame for about 20-25 minutes so that the mutton gets cooked properly. Your Yummy Mutton Boti Kabab is ready to serve. Serve with Mayo and ketchup for better taste.
