Ingredients of Chicken Tandoori Chicken Chest Pieces or Leg Pieces - 500 gm Yogurt - 250 gm Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon Red Chilly Powder - 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon Tandoori Masala - 1 Tablespoon Edible Red Color (optional) - 1/4 Teaspoon Lemon Juice - 1 Tablespoon Salt - To Taste Steps for Chicken Tandoori Step 1
Wash the chicken pieces properly and leave to for 5 minutes to drain the water through a strainer. Put some small cuts on the chicken for easy marination.
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes with lemon juice and salt. If in a hurry, you can skip this step. This makes the chicken soft from inside and doesn’t feel tasteless after cooking.
Mix all the ingredients in the marinated chicken and leave it for another 30 minutes. This will help the taste to reach every part.
Apply some oil on the grill inside the oven. Preheat the OTG Oven @ 120°.
Grill the chicken for around 30 minutes @ 120° in the oven. Change the side as and when required for proper cooking as the performance of different ovens is different. You know your appliances better.
For garnishing, heat a small frying pan put some oil and cook the remaining paste for 10 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle the paste over the grilled chicken and enjoy the appetizing Chicken Tandoori
