How To Make Dabba Gosht – Mutton Pie

Ingredients of Dabba Gosht
- Mutton Boneless - 400 gm (Small Cubes)
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tablespoon
- Green Chili Paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Milk - 2 Cup
- Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 1 Tablespoon
- Potato - 1 Pcs (Small Cubes)
- Tomato - 1 Pcs (Rings)
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Edible Oil - 3 Tablespoon
- Egg - 1 Pcs
- Salt - To Taste
Steps for Dabba Gosht
- Step 1
Take a pressure Cooker, Add the Meat cubes, Ginger Garlic Paste, water and 1.5 cups of milk and boil until tender. It should be kept in mind that the water should be dried completely and meet should be tender.
- Step 2
To make the white sauce, take a small pan and add 2 tablespoons of Butter or oil in it. Add maida to it and cook until golden brown. Add 1/2 cup milk to it and cook for 5 minutes to make a thick consistent sauce. Add Black Pepper and Salt to it and Keep it aside.
- Step 3
Grease the mold with Oil. Spread the tender meat in the mold. Cover it with the white sauce prepared earlier. Set the tomato rings on it. Now make a layer of small cubes of potato over it and sprinkle some black pepper over it.
Take an egg. Beat it and spread it over the potato layer. Heat oil in a small pan and put it over the egg so that the egg is cooked.
- Step 4
Now put the mold in an oven and bake it for 15 minutes at 200 degrees. Your Inimitable Dabba Gosht is ready to serve. You can serve it with Chapatis or can be eaten raw just like a pie.
