Indian style fish fry recipe is extremely delicious and healthy, appetizing seafood. This can be served as a side dish for any type of variety rice. However, it works fabulously with rasam and watery sambar.
This mouth-watering fish fry can be prepared in a number of ways. I shared the simple and easy one with a handful of ingredients.
Ingredients of Fish Fry Recipe
Fish pieces -250 grams
Turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon
Lemon juice-1/2 tablespoon
Ginger & Garlic paste-1 tablespoon
Red chilly powder-1 tablespoon
Coriander powder-1/4 tablespoon
Garam masala powder-/14 tablespoon
Cumin powder-1/4 tablespoon
Oil as needed
Salt and water as needed
Steps for Fish Fry Recipe
Wash and Clean the fish until you get satisfaction.
Once cleaned add lime juice and turmeric powder and keep it aside for few minutes. Mix all other ingredients thoroughly with salt. (It should be a thick paste)
Apply the paste gently from all sides of the fish.
Marinate the fish for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
Add a tablespoon of oil with a medium flame once hot, place the fish and let it cook on both the sides until it turns a golden color. Repeat the same for entire fish.
Your yummy delicious Indian style fish fry is ready to serve.
Tips: If you like deep fry just add a tablespoon of besan powder when you marinate.
