How To Make Kurkure Chicken – Kurkure Chicken Recipe
Appetizing Kurkure Chicken is a saucy and crispy starter that makes your taste buds crave for it again and again. It is made with boneless chicken, maida, and Chinese sauces. The tangy taste of this recipe will make you fall for it.
Appetizing Kurkure Chicken is one of the most demanding delicacies of restaurants in Surat. I first had this yummy starter at one of my friend’s restaurant “Maidah Delicacies”. The moment I tasted it, I fell in love with it.
Appetizing Kurkure Chicken can be a perfect choice for iftar meals during Ramadan and also for parties.
Ingredients of Kurkure Chicken
Chicken Boneless - 500 Gm (Cut into small strips)
Red Chili Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
Green Chili Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
Soya Sauce - 1/2 Teaspoon
Vinegar - Teaspoon
Edible Red Color - 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt - To Taste
Tomato Ketchup - 5 Tablespoon
Cornflour - 5 Tablespoon
Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon
Onion Paste - 1 Tablespoon
Coriander Leaves - 1 Teaspoon (Chopped)
Cheese Cubes - 1 Cube
Egg - 1 Pcs
Steps for Kurkure Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken into small strips of 2-3 inch. Marinate Chicken strips with red chili sauce, green chili sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, salt, egg, turmeric and edible red color.
Mix it well and keep it aside for 2 hours. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken till crispy. While putting the chicken into the pan just twist the strips to give a kurkure style curves.
For making the tangy sauce, heat oil in a pan and add garlic paste and saute it. Now add onion paste and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they smell of raw onion goes away.
Add Tomato Ketchup, green chili sauce, soya sauce, salt and processed cheese. Mix it well until turms thick gravy.
Now add the fried chicken to it and mix it well. Cook for another 5 minutes and your Appetizing Kurkure Chicken is ready to blow up your mind. Grate cheese and sprinkle freshly chopped coriander while serving.
