Ingredients of Aloo Idli

  • Potato - 2 pcs (small size)
  • Green Chili - 2 pcs (medium size)
  • Ginger - 2 pcs (small size)
  • Semolina - 1 (small bowl)
  • Salt - as needed
  • Eno powder - 1 sachet
  • Water - 1 tbsp
  • Edible Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Green Chili - 2 pcs (Whole but small)
  • Green Chili -1 pcs medium (Chopped)

Steps for Aloo Idli

  • Grind potato, green chili & ginger. Till it becomes a paste.
  • Drop the paste in a bowl. Add suji and curd. Mix it.
  • Now add salt, eno powder, and water. Mix well.
  • Take the idli pan. Grease it with cooking oil.
  • Fill potato idli batter in the pan.
  • Sprinkle black pepper powder on it. Now steam it.
  • Now add oil in a heated pan.Add mustard seeds. Saute it. Add green chili and fry it.
  • Now add aloo idli one by one. Fry them from both the sides
  • Aloo idli is ready. Serve it with sauce.
