Ingredients

1 pcs Chopped Onions medium sized
125 gm Moong Dal Wash it and soak it for 10-15 minutes
1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Teaspoon Red Chilly Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
3 pcs Chopped Tomato Medium sized
To Taste Salt
20 gm Fresh Coriander for Garnishing
4 Tablespoon Edible Oil You can use less or more as per your need
1 pcs Green Chillies Add more if you require more spicy

Desi Moong Dal

    Moong Dal is the easiest recipe a bachelor can make. It is an Indian recipe which is made in almost all areas. Making process and ingredients change from place to place.

    Put oil in a deep pan and heat it for around 2 minutes. Put the chopped onions in the pan and cook until they are soft.

    Add some ginger paste and mix it well. After cooking for 2-3 minutes, add the green chilies, Red chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until you see oil separating from the mixture.

    Add the Moong Dal that you soaked in water earlier. Stir it well. The moong dal should mix well with the mixture, Cook for 5 minutes.

    Add Chopped Tomatoes to the mixture. Mix it well. Add one cup water. Again stir and cover the Pan. Leave it on low heat for 20-30 minutes and you Moong Dal is ready.

    While serving pour it in a plate and garnish it with fresh coriander.
