Ingredients of Prawn Masala Curry

  • Prawns - 500 gm
  • Onion - 3 piece (Fried)
  • Cashew Powder - 2 tsp
  • Tomato - 1 medium size
  • Curd - 100 gm
  • Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
  • Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - as required
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Coriander - 1/2 cup (Chopped)
  • Water - as required

Steps for Prawn Masala Curry

  • Devein and wash the Prawns well with cold water. Drain the water and set aside.
  • Grind fried onion, tomato, and curd in the grinder. Make a fine paste. Keep it aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, and add Prawns. Fry it until in the pan for about 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  • Now in remaining hot oil add the grinded mixture, saute it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add garlic paste, jeera powder, garam masala and stir nicely.
  • Add dhania powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, Kaju powder, salt and add required water.
  • Saute it till excess water gets dried and oil comes up.
  • Lastly, add fried prawns and saute it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy the Prawn Masala Curry in dinner.
