Chinese Chicken Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients of Chinese Chicken Cutlet

  • Chicken – 250 gm (boneless)
  • Potato – 500 gm (boiled & mashed)
  • Green Chili – 4 pieces (Chopped)
  • All-Purpose Flour - 2 tsp
  • Green Chili sauce – 3 tsp
  • Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Egg – 2 pieces
  • Ajinomoto – to taste
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – for deep fry

Steps for Chinese Chicken Cutlet

  • Take a vessle and boil chicken with salt and water till the chicken tender for about 20 min. Take out chicken pieces and shred the chicken. Keep aside chicken stock.
  • In a wok, heat the oil and add maida (gram flour). Saute it till its color changes to a golden brown.
  • Now add chicken stock, chilies, shredded chicken, soya sauce, green Chili sauce, salt, and Ajinomoto. Mix it well for 5 minutes on a low flame. And then remove from heat.
  • Add mashed potatoes to the mixture and mix it well. Make small balls out of it give a cutlet shape using a hand.
  • Beat eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Dip the cutlets into the egg mixture and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • Take out from oil. Crispy Chinese Chicken Cutlet is ready to serve hot.
