Soya Chunks Crispy Snack

Soya chunks are a crispy and protein-rich snack. It’s a little spicy and completely changing the definition of a healthy snack option. You can eat it raw or with any chapati or rice.

My family always ask to cook something unique in the evening. One day I decided to try snacks with soya chunks. With no intimation to others, I prepared this, and I gave this with tea.

Surprisingly, within a few minutes, they finished and begged me an additional bowl, and also in each bite, they keep on asking me, “what an amazing snack?”

Soya chunks are useful for cardiovascular, and also, it is cholesterol-free food. My mother prefers eating soy instead of any all-purpose flour food items.

The surprising fact is that soy is a fantastic alternative to your chicken. It has a similar texture to chicken.

Ingredients of Soya Chunks Snack

  • Soya Chunks - 1 cup (small sized) ( (Meal maker)
  • Onion Paste - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Gram flour - 3-4 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - as needed
  • Oil - as needed

Steps for Soya Chunks Snack

  • Wash The soya chunks until you get satisfaction.
  • Then boil the soya chunks for a few minutes with a pinch of salt. Once it a, keep it aside to cool.
  • Then extract the water from meal maker by simply squeezing with your hands.
  • Then add other ingredients to the soya with required salt and mix it thoroughly. Set it aside for 5-7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, Heat the oil in the heavy-bottomed vessel, once hot deep fry the chunks until it gets crispy and golden colour.
  • Repeat the same process for remaining chunks.
  • That’s it your simple and crispy soya chunk is ready to serve. Enjoy this with hot tea with your loved one.
