Ingredients of Pomfret Masala Gravy

  • Pomfret - 2 piece
  • Lemon Juice - 2 tsp
  • Curd - 100 gm
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Green Chili Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
  • Wheat Flour - 2 tsp
  • Oil - as required
  • Water - as required
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Coriander - for garnishing (chopped)

Steps for Pomfret Masala Gravy

  • Wash and dry pomfret and do cuts on the fish.
  • Marinate fish with lemon juice and salt. Mix it well. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, add curd, jeera powder, garam masala, garlic paste, green chili paste, turmeric powder, dhania powder, red chili powder, wheat flour, water, and salt. Mix it well. Keep aside.
  • Now heat oil the pan and fry fish both the sides and keep aside.
  • Now in remaining hot oil put mixture and saute it till water get reduced to thick consistency and oil comes up.
  • Now add fish pieces and serve with chopped coriander. Enjoy the pomfret fish during your dinner time.
