Poha Kheer | Rice Flakes Kheer

Ingredients of Poha Kheer

  • Ghee - 3-4 tbsp
  • Almonds - 8-10 pcs
  • Cashew - 8-10 pcs
  • Rice Flakes - 50 gm
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 70 gm
  • Cardamom - 1 tsp
  • Milk Cream - 4-5 tbsp
  • Red Raisins - 1 tbsp
  • Pistachio - 1 tbsp

Steps for Poha Kheer

  • Take a deep vessel and heat it. Add ghee to it and melt.
  • Now add almonds and cashew. Saute it for 2-3 minutes. You will notice the color of the cashew will change. Remove it afterward and keep aside.
  • Now add rice flakes and saute it for 2-3 minutes as well. Then add milk and mix it.
  • Add sugar and cardamom after it. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Finally, add milk cream and keep aside to cool.
  • Poha Kheer is ready. Serve it chill or at room temperature.
