  • Onion - 2 (medium-sized) ((chopped)
  • Coriander - 1 small bowl
  • Ginger- a small piece
  • Garlic - 2-3 Pieces
  • Green Chili - 2-3 (sliced)
  • Chana dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1/4 tbsp (black gram)
  • Groundnuts - 1 tbsp (Fried) (optional)
  • Salt and Water - as needed
  • Oil-1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds -1/4 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves

Steps for Onion Chutney with Coriander Leaves Recipe

  • Heat half of the oil in a pan once hot add chana and urad dal. When it turns a golden tone add Chili.
  • Then add chopped onion, garlic, ginger and fry until it turns transparent color.
  • Add coriander leaves and fried groundnuts, allow to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Keep, the mix aside until it cool. Once it cooled, blend the stuff with required salt. (Sprinkle the water to make struggle free grind.)
  • Heat the remaining oil with a medium flame, once hot, add mustard seeds, when it starts splutters add curry leaves and pour this to the chutney. The appetizing, bright green South Indian style onion coriander chutney is ready to serve! It's a splendid combo for idly or dosa.
