Kadhai masala powder is totally different from garam masala. It contains fewer ingredients. We have used whole spices that are strong in flavour. If you look closely our kadhai masala doesn’t contain spices that give aroma. For example, fennel seeds, nutmeg, cardamom, etc. In short, our kadhai masala is minimalist and quick to make things.
On the other hand, garam masala powder contains a variety of ingredients. These varieties of ingredients make your garam masala hot in taste. Not only this but it also adds fragrance to the garam masala which further adds to the recipe. A step further, garam masala has a wide variety when it comes to application.
For example, non-veg items, pulav, biryani, paneer and vegetarian dishes. Not only this but it can be used for starters too like paneer tikka, hariyali paneer tikka, etc.

Storing Kadhai Masala Powder
Indian masala powders are free from artificial flavours, colours, additives and preservatives. The same applies to our kadhai masala. It is 100% natural and homemade. Therefore, to maintain its natural flavour store it in a glass container with a tight lid.
Make sure it is not exposed to direct heat, sunlight or moisture. Also, make sure you close the lid tightly after using it. I follow the same and you can do it as well for longer shelf life. I suggest not using plastic containers.
FAQs
Is kadhai masala spicy or hot?
It is both mildly spicy and hot because of black pepper and dry red chillies. Adjust the quantity of these two items to increase or decrease the intensity.
