Ingredients of Tandoori Roti

  • All-Purpose Flour - 5 Cups
  • Baking Soda - 2 tsp
  • Yogurt - 3 To 4 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 3 tsp
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Milk - 2 Cups (To Make Dough)

Steps for Tandoori Roti

  • Mix all the above ingredients with Milk to form a dough
  • Keep it covered for 4 hours with a wet cloth.
  • Heat the Tava. Make Tandoori Roti slightly thicker than the ordinary.
  • Flip the Tawa Upside-down. Apply water on the top side of tava and then put the Tandoori roti on Tava.
  • Keep the heat on medium flame. Wait until the Roti starts to form bubbles.
  • Change the side and cook it on direct flame. The Tandoori Roti is ready to serve. Apply some Butter for good taste.
