You must have heard of many energy bars and snacks. Muesli is one of the most popular energy snack or bar available. Usually, people opting to buff up their bodies or pursue more muscles are recommended to consume such snacks.

But you mustn’t need to have any such excuse to have these delicious energy balls.  Everyone must consume these balls of health sources regularly.

Also, these oats raisins energy balls consisting of many healthy ingredients. So the list of health benefits you will get by eating these is very long. But, even just two of these are enough to provide you with the energy to go on a whole day.

Here, the natural sweetness is coming from the dates and raisins we have used. Also, cocoa and salt will give a nice touch of bitterness and savoury in them. If you want, you can sweeten it more with honey.

We have not used flex seeds with these energy-filled ingredients. But they are a great food to add to this recipe – making it very similar to muesli. All these ingredients will provide a significant amount of protein to your body.

Ingredients of Oats Energy Balls

  • Rolled Oats - 100 gm
  • Almonds - 70 gm ( pieces)
  • Dates - 250 gm (Seedless)
  • Red Raisins - 40 gm (Dry)
  • Black Raisins - 50 gm (Dry)
  • Pistachio - 20 gm
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp

Steps for Oats Energy Balls

  • Take a pan, add rolled oats and roast it for 2 minutes at low flame. Remove oats from the pan and keep it aside. Do not keep oats in the hot pan or else it will burn.
  • Now add almond pieces and roast it for 2 minutes at low flame. Remove almonds from the pan and keep it aside. Do not keep almonds in the hot pan or else it will burn.
  • Take a mixer jar. Add unseeded dates and roasted almonds pieces.Add dry red raisins, dry black raisins, pistachio, and grind it
  • Now add cocoa powder and half tsp salt. Grind it again.
  • Empty the mixture in a clean bowl and add roasted rolled oats. Mix well and make balls out of the mixture.
  • Oats raisin energy balls are ready. Store in an airtight container. Eat every morning with milk.
