Ingredients of Methi Muthiya With Homemade Sauce

  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Methi Bhaji - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Ginger & Green Chili Paste - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Water - as needed
  • Oil - for deep fry
  • For Homemade Sauce
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Onion Puree - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Puree - 1 small bowl
  • Dhania Powder - 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh Cream - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Kasuri Methi - 1/2 tsp

Steps for Methi Muthiya With Homemade Sauce

  • Take a marination bowl and add flour. Then add methi bhaji, salt to taste, ginger and green chili paste, turmeric powder, oil and water as needed. Mix well and make dumplings.
  • Now take a deep vessel and deep-fry methi dumplings for about 5 minutes. Keep it aside.
  • For making sauce, heat the oil in the pan. Add ginger-garlic paste, onion puree and saute it for about 3 minutes. Now add tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add dhania powder, red chili powder, salt to taste, turmeric powder, and sugar. Mix it well.
  • Now add fresh cream, cashew paste and mix it well.
  • Add a pinch of kasuri methi and mix it well. Cook for a minute. Homemade sauce is ready.
  • Crispy Methi Muthiya with homemade sauce is ready to serve.
