Indian style fish fry recipe is extremely delicious and healthy, appetizing seafood. This can be served as a side dish for any type of variety rice. However, it works fabulously with rasam and watery sambar.

This mouth-watering fish fry can be prepared in a number of ways. I shared the simple and easy one with a handful of ingredients.

Ingredients of Fish Fry Recipe

  • Fish - 250 grams
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger & Garlic paste -1 tbsp
  • Red Chili powder-1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - /14 tbsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp
  • Oil as needed
  • Salt and water as needed

Steps for Fish Fry Recipe

  • Wash and Clean the fish until you get satisfaction.
  • Once cleaned add lime juice and turmeric powder and keep it aside for few minutes. Mix all other ingredients thoroughly with salt. (It should be a thick paste)
  • Apply the paste gently from all sides of the fish.
  • Marinate the fish for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Add a tablespoon of oil with a medium flame once hot, place the fish and let it cook on both the sides until it turns a golden color. Repeat the same for entire fish. Your yummy delicious Indian style fish fry is ready to serve. Tips: If you like deep fry just add a tablespoon of besan powder when you marinate.
