Egg Malai Curry Recipe – Anda Malai Curry

Egg Malai Curry or Anda Malai Curry is a simple, easy and delicious low spice dish cooked in a creamy gravy. Yummy recipe that cannot be denied by the person who loves eggs.

When it comes to egg curries, no one can beat Indians. We are the kings in making your taste buds go crazy. We always experiment with new tastes and have mostly succeeded in doing it.

The creamy gravy made with milk, onion paste, and Indian spices will just blow you away. One of my family’s favorite. My little brother loves it so much. I choose to cook this delicacy when I am low to cheer myself up.

Ingredients of Egg Malai Curry

  • Eggs - 5 Pcs (Boiled)
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 3 Pcs (medium)
  • Green Chili - To Taste
  • Coriander - 2 tbsp (Chopped)
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - To Taste

Steps for Egg Malai Curry

  • Put Onions and Chilies in a grinder and blend to a smooth paste. Pour oil in a pan and add the onion-chili paste into it. Cook for 2 minutes and add ginger garlic paste to it. Cook for about 10 minutes on low heat and lower the flame when it starts changing color.
  • Add milk to it and mix well. Add Turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder,coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to the gravy. Cook for another 2 minutes and add the egg halves.
  • Now Add boiled egg in to curry and mix it and garnish with dry green chili.
  • Your delicious Egg Malai Curry is ready to serve.  Tastes lovely when served with butter naan or garamagaram roti.
