Chicken Frankie Roll – Mumbai Street Food Recipe

Delicious Chicken Frankie Roll is a trendy Indian street food made with flatbread (paratha) wrapped with spicy boneless chicken, chopped onions, tomatoes, and yummy chutney. Loved by all, especially children.

Frankie rolls are usually thought of as a French food due to its name. But the origin of it comes from the street vendors of old Mumbai during 1930.

Chicken Frankie Roll is fast food that can be served as a snack or a light meal. It can be stuffed with various fillings to suit your taste.

Vacations are about to start, and we usually plan a day out at the beach or gardens with our family and friends. Frankie Rolls are a great option for such gatherings and picnics. Prepare the rolls and wrap them and wrap them in a silver foil.

We have used cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, Garam Masala, and Chat masala in this recipe. Some people prefer eating as is due to its taste. However, if you want, you can use mayo or ketchup to make it even tangier.

Finally, I would like to say that one can use Frankie roll to use leftover rotis. If you are using leftover roti, then you don’t need to be making the paratha.
