Kurkure Chicken – Kurkure Chicken Recipe

Appetizing Kurkure Chicken is one of the most demanding delicacies of restaurants in Surat. I first had this yummy starter at one of my friend’s restaurant “Maidah Delicacies”. The moment I tasted it, I fell in love with it.

Appetizing Kurkure Chicken can be a perfect choice for iftar meals during Ramadan and also for parties.

Ingredients of AppetizinKurkure Chicken

  • Chicken - 500 Gm (Boneless) (Cut into small strips)
  • Red Chili Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Green Chili Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar - tsp
  • Edible Red Color - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Tomato Ketchup - 5 tbsp
  • Cornflour - 5 tbsp
  • All-Purpose Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Onion Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 tsp (Chopped)
  • Cheese - 1 Cube
  • Egg - 1 Pcs

Steps for AppetizinKurkure Chicken

  • Cut the boneless chicken into small strips of 2-3 inch. Marinate Chicken strips with red chili sauce, green chili sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, salt, egg, turmeric and edible red color.
  • Mix it well and keep it aside for 2 hours. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken till crispy. While putting the chicken into the pan just twist the strips to give a kurkure style curves.
  • For making the tangy sauce, heat oil in a pan and add garlic paste and saute it. Now add onion paste and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they smell of raw onion goes away.
  • Add Tomato Ketchup, green chili sauce, soya sauce, salt and processed cheese. Mix it well until turms thick gravy.
  • Now add the fried chicken to it and mix it well. Cook for another 5 minutes and your Appetizing Kurkure Chicken is ready to blow up your mind. Grate cheese and sprinkle freshly chopped coriander while serving.
