Anda Bhurji – Indian Egg Scramble

Anda Bhurji is a delectable dish which is an amazing mix of egg & veggies together. The taste of butter comes into each bite which makes the taste delicious. It is ready in less than 20 minutes & is go-to-food any time any day.

It is the scrambled egg made with an Indian touch. The Burji can be made into many variations. This variation will make you fall in love with. You can call it Indian scrambled egg as well.

There is no fixation of time for the dish. You can enjoy this wonderful recipe to eat at any time of the day. I made this recipe at my office. It was a perfect weekend and all the employees were enjoying the best moment of earning high sales in that particular month.

We are all egg lovers by the way. When it came to party food, they screamed my name, “Fahim, today you give us a nice egg recipe here. ”

I went to our small kitchen in the office and I wanted to make something which just prepares in less than 30 minutes. So what could be better than Anda Bhurji totally in Indian style?

Ingredients of Anda Bhurji

  • Edible Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Butter - 2 Tbsp
  • Onion - 1 pcs (Chopped)
  • Green Chili- 2 Tbsp (Chopped)
  • Ginger - 1 Tbsp
  • Tomato - 1 pcs (Chopped)
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 Tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 Tbsp
  • Egg - 3 pcs
  • For Garnishing
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 Tsp
  • Red Bell Pepper - 5 to 7 Slices

Steps for Anda Bhurji

  • Heat oil in the pan. Then add butter in a pan on medium flame. Add chopped onion and saute it. Now add green chili, ginger, tomato one by one with salt as per taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder and mix them well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add whisked eggs in the pan and stir well. Add butter again to make it fluffy and mix everything for one final time.
  • Anda Bhurji is ready to serve. Garnish with coriander leaves and red bell pepper slices. Enjoy the bites of heaven.
