Ingredients of Green Mutton Chops

  • Mutton Chops - 1/2 Kg
  • Green Chili Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper Powder -1 tsp
  • Roasted and Crushed Cumin & Coriander Seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt - 1/2 Cup
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Edible Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves Chopped - 1/2 tbsp

Steps for Green Mutton Chops

  • Take perfectly cut chops. Wash the chops and drain the water properly. Take a small bowl and marinate the chops with salt and lemon juice. Add ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, crushed and roasted cumin and coriander seeds and turmeric green chili paste. Keep it aside for at least an hour.
  • Take a small pan and heat oil in it. Add mutton chops with the mixture of masala to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes until the mutton chops are semi-fried.
  • Add a glass of water to the pan and mix it well. Cover the pan and let it cook until the chops are perfectly cooked and become tender.
  • Now add yogurt and mix properly. Cook until oil starts to float. Your Spicy green mutton Chops are ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped fresh Coriander leaves.
