Dry Coconut Falooda Recipe – Dry Coconut Pudding

Dry Coconut Falooda or Dry Coconut Pudding is a delicious fruity pudding, flavored with dry coconut and coconut milk which makes it a perfect treat for any kind of gatherings.

When it comes to choosing between different deserts, I prefer going coconut pudding over everything. Its milky and yummy taste will make you fall in love with it.

Dry Coconut Falooda is my family’s favorite too. My kids, especially my little princess loves it very much. Other desserts I have to make her eat sometimes but this one is what she eats all by herself.

Ingredients of Dry Coconut Falooda

  • Coconut - 1 Pcs
  • Milk - 1 Litre
  • China Grass - 10-15 gm (Little)
  • Edible Color - Pinch
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Steps for Dry Coconut Falooda

  • Take Coconut and separate the white part from it. Remove the brown skin and then grind it.
  • Take half Litre milk and boil it. Now add the ground coconut to it and boil for another 5 minutes. Keep it aside until milk gets cold.
  • Now completely strain the milk in another container using thin cotton cloth or strainer. Strain as much as possible so that the added coconut separates from the milk.
  • Take 1 cups of water and add China Grass to it. Let it boil for few minutes and add sugar. Now add the milk mixture to this and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir it well so that it mixes well.
  • Take a serving plate and pour the mixture into it and refrigerate it for about half an hour. Your Dry Coconut Falooda or Dry Coconut Pudding is ready. While serving garnish it with the separated ground coconut over it.
