Easy Corn Cutlet

Corn Cutlet or Sweet Corn Cutlet is a mouth-watering and yummy veg appetizer made with simple ingredients and gets ready in less than 20 minutes.

The special thing about this cutlet is its an Indian fusion food. We have added an alfredo sauce into the mixture & made this yummy corn cutlet.

Ingredients of Corn Cutlet

  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Carrot - 1 cup (Chopped)
  • Bell Peppers - 1 cup (Chopped)
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Green Chili Paste - 1 tbsp
  • All-Purpose Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Double Cream - 3 tbsp
  • Corn - 2 tbsp (Crushed)
  • Corn - 2 tbsp (Full)
  • Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
  • Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - for deep frying

Steps for Corn Cutlet

  • Take a pan and heat butter in it. Now add chopped carrot & bell peppers. Saute it for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste & green chili paste. Mix it well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep it aside.
  • To prepare the white sauce, take another pan & heat butter in it. Add all-purpose flour, mix it well and cook for 1 minute.
  • Now add salt, black pepper & double cream. Cook the white sauce until it gets thick in texture.
  • Take a marination bowl. Add crushed corn, peeled corns, sauteed veggies to it. Then add white sauce & bread crumbs. Mix it well. Your corn cutlet mixture is ready. Make small circular cutlets. Or else you can make any shape you desire.
  • Take a small bowl. Add all-purpose flour and corn flour to it. Now add some water. Mix it well to form a perfect coating. Not so thick and not so thin. Medium consistency.
  • Take a pan and heat oil for deep frying. Dip the cutlets in corn flour coating and fry until golden brown.
  • Your crispy Corn cutlets are ready to serve. To get some extra taste, enjoy it with ketchup or mayo.
